The Minister of Tourism, Ms. Angelkova, expressed in a letter to the OPIC Management Board (with a copy to us) her principled support for the proposal of the Business Agency Association under the Interreg_DEVISE project to develop a procedure "Support for the implementation of digitalization services for micro and small enterprises from the tourism industry to overcome the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic" under Priority Axis 2 "Entrepreneurship and growth capacity of SMEs" of OPIC.
The development of our joint efforts with the tourist business from Varna and Burgas (with the active participation of Krasimira Markovich), the unification of a dozen associations and chambers to support the proposal shows that policies can be improved for more benefits for people and European money - directed to unplanned and new needs from the benefit users themselves. Good ideas and proven solutions from our Interreg Europe Interregional Cooperation Program projects are an invaluable resource when people and businesses come together for change.
We continue to work on the implementation of the procedure.
