The approach of the "quadruple helix"

image
The goal of the Hocare project is to encourage the provision of innovative home care solutions in regional innovation chains, strengthening cooperation between participants in regional innovation systems using the quadruple approach. Recently, there are often talks about "triple helix" (business sector, public sector and research / academia) or "quadruple" (business sector, public sector, research / academic centers and civil society organizations).
It is a model for innovation cooperation or an environment for innovation cooperation whereby consumers, businesses, research institutes, universities and public authorities cooperate in the process of creating innovation together by shaping the future by guiding structural changes beyond the scope of activity of only one organization. This model also includes innovative consumer-orientated models to take full advantage of fruitful exchange of ideas and their implementation from the initial stage through the prototype to the real-world application.
