During the seminars the following topics were discussed:
Presentation of progress on the implementation of the objectives of the ISIS;
Information on the developed technology roadmaps for the ISIS thematic areas;
National Strategy for Research Development 20176-2030 - Measures and actions to support research and innovation in the thematic areas of smart specialization and related scientific infrastructure;
Presentation of the results of the competitive procedures under the OP "Innovation and Competitiveness" and the "Science and Education for Smart Growth 2014-2020" OP in relation to the implementation of the objectives of the ISIS;
Present the possibilities of Horizon 2020 to support research and innovation, in line with the ISIS thematic areas;
Discussion with a view to updating the ISIS priority thematic sub-areas, incl. and by regions for planning and refining regional intelligent specialization;
Discussion on the possibilities for defining actions and measures on the developed technology road maps.
The focus of the thematic events was to focus the focus on deepening cooperation between Bulgarian companies and the academic community in these areas and to highlight the main priority areas of action for achieving smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in 2014-2020.
The forums were attended by representatives of government departments and institutions, leading specialists in relevant thematic areas and in the field of innovation and research, representatives of the academic community, higher education institutions, research institutes and units, representatives of employers' organizations, business and non-governmental sector .
